Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations, Chevening provides fully funded scholarships, leaving you free to focus on achieving your academic goals and enjoying the experience of a lifetime.
This scholarship is for postgraduate study. The awards are typically for a one-year master’s degree.
You will live and study in the UK for a year, during which time you will develop professionally and academically, grow your network, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships.

As well as the standard scholarships, we also offer a Chevening-Southampton scholarship. This is open to master's students from any eligible country who choose the University as their first choice institution.
